Livingston, Tennessee lies in a valley on the Highland Rim, approximately
20 miles northeast of Cookeville. We are what many consider to be a small
town, with the 2000 census showing a population of 3,498. The atmosphere
is always friendly here. Livingston is the type of town where everyone
knows their neighbor, strangers are always welcome, and someone is always
around to lend a helping hand.
The schools in Livingston are top notch. We have 5 elementary schools,
Livingston Middle School, and Livingston High School for your children
to attend so they can receive a great education. Volunteer State Community
College is nearby for those wanting to achieve higher education, as well
as Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville.
We also have Livingston Regional Medical Center, as well as a diverse
array of other practices to suite your medical needs.
The weather here varies with hot sunny summers, and mild winters.
Nearby attractions include the plethora of state parks, such as Fall
Creek Falls and Standing Stone State Park. You can also head over to Dale
Hollow Lake to enjoy some fishing or fun in the water.
